Weird Squids

This octopus is called the Big Red and it is very peculiar looking. This oddball was found about 1500m deep in the ocean and was capture beautifully.

This unusual looking octopus is called the Blue Ringed octopus because of its appearance. It is very tiny - about the size of a golf ball actually and it is very venomous and deadly to humans. So don’t get close to one because there is no anecdote.

New Squid- Champion Chewer

 
This squid was found among 80,000 deep-sea organisms collected from the northern Mid-Atlantic Ridge, a chain of undersea mountains halfway between Europe and North America.This new, unusual type of squid was named Promachoteuthis sloan. The shape of its beak suggests the squid is a powerful chewer.
